Maybe like you, I’m struggling to take the muzzle off and make a little noise. I’m here to challenge you to consider the other side of the proverbial coin and hopefully encourage you to see the world through the eyes of grace.
If you like music, we can talk. If you’re an educational stakeholder (ahem… you are,) we should talk. If you’re interested in people and God and the distance between the two, let’s talk. I spend a lot of time thinking, and I’m challenging myself to value my own voice in the way I already value others’.
I live in Small Town, USA, where I’ve lived since I was 8 with the exception of five glorious years spent at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. There I studied music and teaching, and I came back home with a red-headed preacher man for a husband. Since then, I’ve
- taught every grade from Pre-K to 12th
- given birth to 3 hilarious, beautiful children
- taught the most miserable Bible study for teenage girls ever
- put on about 25 school concerts (My favorite was Annie Jr.)
- opened a piano studio
I’m called to be a bridge. I hope I can help you find a river worth crossing.
